Charles Darwin said that in order to survive in this forever changing would you must be able to adapt to it. By doing thins you go through what is called natural selection. Natural selection is where in order to evolve you pick the best traits to breed into a better organism that can survive the new changes. That is ex-actually what these organisms did. In the bottom of the ocean where it was pitch black, there were organisms that glowed. In the video he explained that there glowing skin was due to evolution an it was use to catch pray, hypnosis and to scare predators. In the shallow parts of the water the fish and squid adapted to use camouflage to blend into objects near them such as choral. But doing that they were able to catch pry and hide from predators.
